Happy Holidays!  We wish you a wonderful 2010... full of love, peace and joy!  Our "Winter Programs" will run from now until the end of March 2010.  Also check our schedule of library programs listed down below.   This season's skit performance (for school assemblies and libraries only) will be:  "Amelia Bedelia Just Can't Get it Right!"  Don't miss the detailed description of this spectacular performance below!



WELCOME! 

The Friendly Learning Theatre Company specializes in educational storytelling with a unique hands-on activity, live puppet shows and live skit performances that cater to young audiences. 

We offer seasonal programs that teach children about calendar holidays, traditions, history, math, science, literature, writing concepts and other enrichment topics.  Each program has a multiple set of learning objectives, such as learning about life skills, fostering self-confidence and promoting independent thinking.  We aspire to kindle a child’s curiosity for learning and reading using a creative and artistic approach.  Our programs and performances are currently being offered to schools, camps, libraries and PTA sponsored events located in the South Florida area.  We bring our program to your location.

Amelia Bedelia Just Can't Get it Right!

Description of Program:

 

 Amelia Bedelia is a maid that tends to Mrs. Roger's house.  Amelia is so lovable, kind and a great cook.  But Amelia has trouble understanding what Mrs. Rogers would like her to accomplish.  She lives in a world full of misunderstandings that drives Mrs. Rogers crazy.  Through this fun and comical skit performance, children will laugh as they see Amelia take Mrs. Roger's figures of speech literally.  The audience is asked to help Amelia Bedelia..."get it right".
